Guardsafe

The all aluminium Guardsafe system builds on the Ampligrip Flooring Grating with a range of brackets, stanchions, guard rails, balustrade and supports to provide fully integrated lightweight, corrosion proof, easily assembled stairways and access walkways.  Typical applications include industrial exterior and marine environments using Roof Walkways, Rooftop Platforms and Catwalks.  Another application would be in flammable areas where the non sparking nature of this system is an essential specification.

This system has been designed and tested to meet AS1657-1992 and AS1170 Part 1-1989 using Ampligrip Aluminium Grating exclusively as the walkway component. Use of a substitute walkway component or any variation to recommended installation and assembly instrucitnos will invalidate published load/span tables, and guarantees offered by Juralco.Guardsafe Access Systems can be mechanically assembled on site using only basic tools and much reduced labour compared to steel and other systems.  No site welding is required and carnage is often unnecessary. Guardsafe Access Systems are capable of continuous spans of up to 8.47m.
